Television presenter Matt Baker receives a call that leads him to move his wife and two children north to run his family's sheep farm in the Durham hills after his mum had a serious accident.

Matt faces up to some of the vital changes that need to be made in order to secure the future of the farm. First on the to-do list is a much-needed renovation of the miniature donkey stables.
Episode 2
Matt calls in a family friend to help build a brand-new road around the farm, and Matt and Nicola head to Snowdonia to collect 10 specially selected ewes
Episode 3
The Baker family's efforts begin to pay off, as the farm and its inhabitants are given a new lease of life. And Matt reveals his plans to increase biodiversity in the woodland by planting an orchard.
Episode 4
The Bakers get clearing, sweeping and painting for the very last farm makeover and Matt prepares for lambing season, as the family look ahead to exciting things to come
